YOUR DAY AT THE ZOO
Regular admission includes exploring the zoo’s animal exhibits and visiting the petting zoo. The reptile area is open seasonally.
FEED THE ANIMALS
Pick up a $5 carrot cup and look for the “I Love Snacks” signs to see which animals you can feed.
Bring quarters! There are also 23 feed machines throughout the zoo, with food for the animals at those locations.
Animal feed and keeper-guided animal encounters are sold separately from admission.
Animal Encounters
Spend time with capybaras, sloths, otters, lemurs, and more during a keeper-guided encounter.
Book online or ask about same-day availability at the gift shop. Animal encounters require a separate ticket in addition to zoo admission.

Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes! Outside food and nonalcoholic drinks are welcome, and picnic areas are available. Please do not feed outside food to any zoo animals. Use only the animal feed provided by the zoo.
Are the trails wheelchair and stroller accessible?
The zoo has unpaved trails that can be difficult to navigate with wheelchairs and strollers when muddy. Call us at (989) 624-6177 if you have questions about current trail conditions.
Do you offer rentals?
Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent for $5 each.
